Students will explore how adaptations enable organisms to survive in their environment by finding out how paleontologists classify dinosaurs into similar biological groups while also investigating their own unanswered questions.

Students will create and present digital research information about the most notable Australian dinosaur finds by using the magic of movie-making to unravel the mystery that has been millions of years in the making.

Students will do the work of paleontologists by selecting tools to carefully excavate dinosaur fossils from simulated sandstone rock.
